How much does it cost to do a color run?
The entrance fee-based color run option opens up the event to the whole community. With this type of fundraiser, you will choose the entrance fee cost (a minimum of $30), which will include a color pack and T-shirt.
How long does it take to do the Colour run?
The Color Run is a five-kilometer, untimed event. At each kilometer mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color.
Can you walk the Color Run?
The Color Run event is all about a color crazy day with friends and family. You can run, walk, crawl, or cartwheel if you wish!
Do color run stain your clothes?
Color Powder washes out of most clothing but since we haven’t tested every fabric under the sun you may want to leave your favorite running clothes or evening dress at home. If it doesn’t wash out the first time, don’t put it in the dryer and try some stain remover or bleach (white clothes only) the second time around.
Do you need sunglasses for Colour run?
The powder is all certified non-toxic. We recommend wearing sunglasses or goggles, and a bandana over your mouth and nose in the color zones just for extra protection.
Can you do a Colour run in the rain?
What happens if it is raining on the day? The Colour Run is a rain, rainbow and shine event. We’ll only consider postponing or cancelling the event when safety is at stake.
How do you remove color run powder?
Plain water can get the bulk of the dry color out. After that, you’ll want to shampoo, condition and rinse. If your hair is still stained, it will typically fade within a week or two. If you’d like to speed up the process, try using a clarifying shampoo or Dawn dish soap.
Can baking soda remove Colour run?
It can help lift the stain from the fabric. Because baking soda also can whiten, it will help to remove the color or dye portion of the stain as well.
Does the color run stain your hair?
If your hair does become stained after the Color Run, don’t panic. The staining generally isn’t permanent. If you can live with it, it should eventually fade within a week or two. To help speed up the process, try a clarifying shampoo like Pureology Purify Shampoo.
