What is the difference between RNeasy micro and mini kit?
The RNeasy Plus Mini Kit purifies up to 100 µg total RNA (>200 nt) from a single extraction with efficient gDNA removal. The RNeasy Plus Micro Kit is specially designed for limited amounts of samples and isolates up to 45 µg pure total RNA.
How does RNeasy mini kit work?
RNeasy technology simplifies total RNA isolation from cells, tissues and yeast by combining the stringency of guanidine-isothiocyanate lysis with the speed and purity of silica-membrane purification. RNeasy Kits provide the highest-quality RNA with minimum copurification of DNA.

What is QIAzol?
The QIAzol Lysis Reagent is a monophasic solution of phenol and guanidine thiocyanate, designed to facilitate lysis of fatty tissues and inhibit RNases. We recommend cleanup of the redissolved RNA using RNeasy® Kits, which are based on silica-membrane technology, to remove any contaminating phenol.
How do you store trizol?

Do RNeasy kits expire?
RNeasy Mini, Midi and Maxi Kits should be stored dry at room temperature (15 to 25°C). RNeasy Kits are stable for at least 9 months under these conditions.
